so the other nigh i was trying to jump start my bike with jumper cables, being in a rush, i accident put the terminals into the wrong spot... and tried to jump start it...... now when i turn on the ignition... i have completely no power. did i burn something? need help plz ! !

 

Check your fuse box.

 

the fuse box? or the main fuse? i checked my fuse box and found one burned fuse.... i think it was the second... but i replace it with a new one and still no power....

 

jsut checked the main fuse and the main fuse is not burned..... need help

 

Are you checking with the battery still in, its possible you shorted the plates, get a new one or borrow a friends and try that, its also possible you cooked a battery wire or connection, check what you can, but i would try the battery first, it can make some weard things happen.

 

yea, you must've blown something, the battery could be screwed now though.


lol so pretty much, no more jumping your bike. lol it only weighs 400 lbs and its a manual transmission, bring it to the top of a hill and give it a running start

 

Battery is prolly shot now........

 

Get a push and jump start it intoo FIRST gear... she should roor if you didnt kill anything... ( how did u do that tho? black and red..) iv never understood that mistake

 

And the lesson for today class:

Never jumpstart a bike with a car.
Why? The electrical system can't handle the current.

 

if all else fails...i think you fried your ecu!
