Default Big fan of Rotella T6 Synthetic motor oil.

I did my oil change several weeks back and I'm impressed. I do not know what kind of oil the previous owner used but I was starting to experience some CCT clatter. After the oil change with the Rotella T6 the CCT clatter is non existent, I cannot explain how or why this happened. Before the oil change upon cold and normal operating temperature starts there was a prominent clatter from the CCT and now it's silent. What do you think CBRF could of cause this immaculate conception of mechanical resurrection?

Humm, do you think, if we slip some on CBRClassic's beer and call it a Black and Tan, and get him to drink it...it'll quiet his clatter? ;-)

I like T6 as well, my cctl rattle showed up while on it but I believe it was just due for a change at nearly 18k miles on the original. I'm currently running quaker state ultimate durability euro 5w-40 in my f4i b/c I got a deal on it, back to T6 when I run out.

My bike has now 50K miles with the original CCT, Honda makes some good parts.

There's a whole thing going on on another forum I'm on about this oil vs. others. The people that use it are pretty much raving about it...most saying it made the bike run/shift far smoother. Only one person said his bike seemed to have adverse effects from using it. I actually came on here looking to see if anyone was using it for their F4i Bike needs a change so I'm thinking about grabbing some and trying it out.

Plenty of people run it in their bikes. Other options from automotive oils are mobil 1 HM 10w-40, mobil 1 15w-50, or rotella 15w-40. If really want to see how the oil is doing put it in there and run it for your regular interval, then pull a sample and send it off to get analyzed somewhere like blackstone labs or oilanalyzers.

I've been using it on the F4i since around my CBRF join date; no problemo
