Lightbulb best alarm out there

hi guys. as some of you know, my f4i was stolen last saturday right from my front porch. i've gotten another f4i yesterday and want to make sure it's protected by some kind of alarm system. so here is the question: what's the most reliable alarm system out there? tell me guys what you use and recommend. i was looking at the kiramek's cyclone 866f and scorpio alarms. i've also came across some xena disc locks with a sensitive alarm system installed in them. any suggestions?

In addition I'd also like to hear some of the pros and cons of each.

I have a Cyclone 866F. For it's price ($149 MSRP but you may find it cheaper), it's an excellent alarm. Adjustable shock sensor, dual axis tilt sensor, anti-tampering and battery backup. For the engine disable you will have to cut the harness. But it comes with posi-locks which makes splicing a breeze.

It's downsides are that it doesn't have remote paging ability, it's a bit of a battery hog (drained the battery on my F3 in a week of non-use) and activating some of the functions are a little complicated. Like when my battery drained I thought I had put it in Sleep mode and it had actually gone into semi-silent mode. And then getting it out of that mode (because I didn't know it was in it) required a call to the US distributor, Frey Moto.

I don't have any direct experience with the Scorpio alarms but they do have more options than the Cyclone (remote paging, perimeter sensor, RFID disable and bike tracking depending on the model you get). Of course you pay more for the Scorpio for those options, including a subscription if you want the ability to track your bike. Also regardless of whatever Scorpio says, you will have to cut the harness to use the engine disable function.

In my F4i, I put a Spy 5000m alarm in. The Spy 5000m lacks the battery backup, tilt sensor and adjustable shock sensor. But I gained remote paging ability and remote engine start for $100 less. Given how often I use the remote engine start tho, I may upgrade to a Scorpio over the winter. If I can justify the $400+ price tag for the options I want (perimete sensor, engine disable and oem connection harness)
