Default Bent Upper Fairing stay?

So I flipped my bike (02 F4i) and now the brake resevoir gets caught on the upper fairing. I figure something is bent but I don't know if it is the upper stay (holds the speedo) or the lower stay (holds the upper). Any guesses?

I saw both of them together on ebay but I don't want extra parts.

Default RE: Bent Upper Fairing stay?

I recently had to replace the upper cowling stay (lower) following a lowside wreck. It ishard to guess which part it is but it is pretty easy to tell if you remove the cowling even though putting it back on can be a hassle. Another alternative is to buy both parts on e-bay and sell the one that you don't need. I am betting it is the lower stay, good luck getting it sorted out.
