Default bank angle sensor

Hello guys ! My tip over / bank angle sensor gone bad ...
I found one which is from 929 , mine is 954 , on a picture looks
the same but is it really the same ? Did they use the same sensor , wiring of it on 929 and 954 ??

Thank you for your help , guys

My understanding is .......same and you can do this despite some peoples opinions on the matter.

wouldn't it be easier to just bypass it all together than to cut the BAS apart? You can simply connect the two outer wires together and it bypasses the sensor.

but as sprock said, some peoples opinion, which includes mine , is to leave the sensor intact and operating. If you dump the bike, it will continue to run, and with the bike on its side, the oil pickup will not be in the oil and what could be a relatively small tip over, could end up costing a ton of money. But, just my opinion.

Thank you guys for replies. I bypassed it just to be able to ride while I am waiting for the replacement sensor to arrive , as soon as it is here , goes right back in .

CBR forum... you should check v4musclebike.com. They know more about them. But a 1984? Probably doesn't have one. And a +4 year old thread? Man you hit the trifecta.
