Default arrrggggg Bike wont start when the engine is hot

can any body help, I have a 2002 cbr 600 F2, (in yellow)

The bike runs great, except, when the engine gets hot, then it WILL NOT start off the starter button. it will start if its bumped (pushed).
if I leave it to cool, it will start off the the starter button again.

I have changed the plugs, air filter, oil/oil filter. checked the compression, and checked all conections.

please, has any one got any ideas.

Take a look at the starter relay switch. When the coil on the relay gets hot it may have very high resistance or an outright "open" wire internally. You can use a volt meter to confirm 12+ volts to the starter relay when the start button on the hand grip is pressed.
Good luck!

I had similar problems with my CBR600F2. I cleaned the carbs, and problems GONE! :-) You have to be VERY careful. Make sure you get ALL of the little passages. Dismantle carbs, spray carb cleaner, soak for 1 hour, use HIGH PREESURE air to blow out all the nooks & crannies. Blow out all the jets. Replace any worn out parts. Check float levels, assemble, sync carbs. The engine will run MUCH better!

Throw some seafoam in there before you start tearing the bike apart. If you just have some small problem, that will clear it out and save you a ton of time.

Also, what method did you use to check the compression, and what were your readings?
