Anyone ever run Octane boost in your 1000RR?
Is it a good or bad thing to do once in a while?
I know in cars it works good to clean and lube injectors as well as the added octane helps.

 

Waste of money, it wont do anything for performance. If you want to do something for cleaning, your better off adding a cap ful of seafoam every now and then.

The only time more octane will boost your performance is if your running octane that is too low for your engine. In fact, runningfuel with too much octane will actually hurt performance.

Higher octane means its more resistant to pre-ignition. So, by adding octane booster, your actually making it harder for your fuel to ignite.

Yes, just make sure you follow directions and do not add too much.
