Always starting bike with choke

Is it bad to always start your bike with choke on even when it is not necessary for a successful start? I have been doing this regularly cuz it almost makes for a 100% no fault start. I would like to know if this is bad for the sparks or engine.
on a second note do you guys leave the fuel valve on or off when you park the bike? I know I can get hydro locked but most people have told me that is almost never the case and leaving valve on or off is no biggie. Just wanted to know what you guys do. Thanks!

I would suggest using the choke when starting it for the first time that day. If the bike is still warm from riding it, then you shouldnt need the choke.
As for the petcock, if the bike is going to sit overnight or longer, I would shut it off. But if you dont have any flooding issues, I wouldnt worry too much about it.

When I had my F3 I would use the choke to start it first in the morning, and after it sat at work in the parking lot all day. If I got off and went into a store or something for half hour or hour it would usually just start right up with no choke. As for the petcock, I would turn it off it I wasnt gonna be riding it for more than a day or two just to be safe.
