Default Choke kills bike

Hey guys i recently changed the spark plugs and installed a k&n air filter in my f4. Now when i go to start it, it will start but idle around 800? before the mods it would idle at 1100. since it idles at 800 i go to put the choke on and it just dies on me. Now if i let it idle at 800 it will slowly but surely makes its way up to 1100 and sit right there. any ideas what the problem could be.

Your idle should be set 1300-1500, depending on climate.
