Default Air in system?

I actually have a couple questions...

The other day i changed out my fan switch because i my fan wasnt coming on. I drained out my coolent and everything is back togather. I noticed that my lower hose is really hot after about 5 mins of idleing. The hose gets hot and is hard to squeese. My question is how do i know that i got all the air out of the system?

My second question is at what temp does the fan typically kick on? I took it out for a ride the other day. I live in michigan so its not warm by any means. When i was riding i heard the bike kick down in power at a stop light almost like the fan was suppose to turn on at that time. It was my first ride out for the season so maybe im just being paranoid.

Sorry im an idiot. I have a 2001 CBR 600F4I

Appreciate the help
Chris

Hey cdchapman5, the fan should be coming on at 220˚F -225˚F. If the bike's not overheating, you should be OK.
