I have went -1 already and i just won an auction for a +3 rear sprocket. i was wondering if my stock chain is going to be long enough for the new sprocket?

I dont think so...it would probably be a few links short. chains arent very much anyway.

I went -1 in front and +3 in back and my stock length chain was fine. It did bring the axle up closer to the slider holes toward the front of the swingarm, but I was still able to use the standard length chain.

How close was it to the rear hugger?? It sounds like it would be really close to scrubbing.

I dont have a rear hugger on it. but, I was concerned it might scrub on the chainguard, so I just manufactured some extenders and raised the guard about a 1/2 inch. I do believe you can do the same with a hugger only using like brass spacers to raise the hole thing up a little.
