Default After-market exhaust

This is a super short exhaust / Straight pipe with little to no baffle that can be found online or ebay. Have seen a few pics on here of memebers who run them. I'll be picking me a bike up within the next two weeks and was wondering if this is a viable exhaust. Is their enough back pressure to not cause any problems down the road.

Been looking for alternatives and found one in a decent price range for me.

The delkevic mini exhaust 8" (not baffled) and 12.5" around $150.

Unless of course the bike i buy comes with an aftermarket exhaust already, my last bike had a d&d on it.

First two are the moto gp, which everyone has probably seen. The second is the delkevic mini exhaust 8" (not baffled) and the final pic is the 12.5" delkevic.

Yea, definitely the 2nd one. Maybe check with Delkevic to see if they sell a baffle seperate.

I believe I've seen Delkevic make exhausts for many bikes, wouldnt be surprised if theres one for the 954

Listened to the sound clips and the second one - 8" exhaust sounds like the D&D i had on my F4. Does anyone think not havin the baffle in the pipe would hurt anything, the third one actually does have a small baffle.

Not likely to hurt your engine. In the old days lack of back pressure could lead to a lean condition and cause the valves to burn. But with injected motors it's less likely. I'd run a power commander and tune it to be on the safe side.

BUT, you are gonna lose some torque. Especially in the low range. And the F4i is not a torque monster anyway so you will lose some performance for the noise factor.
