So my question is is there a key tag on the ignition somewhere? if so how do i remove it. I tried to remove it with a T30 torx bit but it slipped out aand i know its not a T40. can anyone give me some gudiance please?? !!
Thanks all.

A VERY small drop of super glue on the broke part and fit into slot and hold then hopefully your broke part will come out with it.

I have a set of dental picks from harbor freight, great for getting to things like that if you are able to get to the top of key. Check the broken part of key for any numbers, that will identify it. Possibly call dealer and see if vin. # will identify key? A locksmith can make you a key with the gas tank lock, but you still need to remove the ignition, then if all else fails possibly tap on it and the broken piece will come out or at least locksmith can fix, just some suggestions, good luck. PS everything I own first thing I do Is get a spare key.

Take it to a locksmith that does motorcycle keys. He can remove the key & make a replacement.
