so Im rebuilding this old parts bike, got the dash to light up and the temp gauge just flashs numbers when the bike is dead cold.. where do you think the problem lays, if i un hook the mini harness to temp sensor then temp goes off. also the fans dont kick on. think the temp sensor is faulty?? let me know guys thanx!

 

hmmmm... maybe its your computer?

If you can find a computer to borrow for a sec, plug it into your bike and see what the dash reads?

I dont know the 99 900 rr though, just thought of a similar issue a budy was having with his R6, and it was the computer.

just a thought.
