Default 96 F3 Rear 3-piece Section

I'm getting ready to do some plastic welding to my 3 piece section to make it one piece. I'm curious how this will affect removal of the entire section, specifically concerning the boss'.

I'm wondering if too much strain will be put on the weld joints since they will have to be "stretched" each time the fairing is removed or installed for maintenence. I guess I'm just curious if it will eventually break down, or if I should consider something else. I hate that little 3rd piece though - I'd love to get rid of it and I was planning on doing it this way...

Any ideas?

yeah after to take it off a few times its going to break especially if it somewhat cold out. You can buy a one piece section that needs to be painted all over ebay.

Well, I'll have to do that then.

I already started on it tonight. I can tell it's going to be iffy putting it back on there, but as long as it holds me over for a couple of months... looks better than the poor attempt at matching masking tape to platic that I had on there.
