96 CBR F3 Speedo Issues
I've tried 3 different speedo units Unit 15 and every single time, I get the same results. Speedometer reads at 1/2 speed, ie: I'm on the highway passing most cars and it says I'm doing around 35-40mph. Meaning that in reality, I'm likely doing 70-80mph. On top of this, the trip meter and odometer does NOT work.
I've tried putting the old sensor back in (Used to read proper speed, but no trip meter or odometer) and now that reads at 1/2 speed as well. I'm lost. Where do I go from here? I've checked my connections, they appear to be properly hooked up.

Wish I could do more than empathize here, but not one of the areas I feel competent
to answer. Just didn't want you to think, we weren't paying attention. Hopefully,
Spicey, Demon, IDoDirt or one of the other uber-guru's will be able to address your plight.
Mean-time, hang in there. ;-)

I assume the speedometer has a cable drive? If so, is the cable in good condition at the drive ends? Could the square ends be rounded off so that the cable is slipping? Have a look at both ends and if either one is rounded off a new cable should cure the problem. I can't see 3 speedos all being faulty.
Its electronic as far as i know, goes off of the Rpms. ( so i was told)
Id say the cluster was faulty if thats the case, youve changed out 3 sensors with no luck, thatd be where i looked next.
