Default '93 F2 Timing

When doing the timing on a '93 F2 which pistons need to be top dead center?
Called the Honda shop and they don't have a manuel for this bike.
Thanks in advance.

If you're just checking timing with a timing light - then you just run the engine @ idle and let the F mark on the pulse generator line up with notch on the cover.
Increase RPM and the F should rotate counterclockwise starting at about 1600 RPM.

Or have you pulled your Cams/cam chain and you're trying to get everything lined back up.

Thank you. Don't have a timing light unfortunately.
Got a different motor. Have fuel and spark but won't fire when it cranks.
I found out the info though through a guy I know. Piston 1 TDC and have the cam gears lined up so the ticks/lines are flush to the top of the head facing away form each other, outside of the motor.

Yeah - and at that point the T mark on the pulse rotor should line up with the mark on the case housing.

firing order is 1-2-4-3
#1&4 are fed off the right side coil, 2&3 are from the left.
