Arrow 93 900 Speedo hub picture request

I'm in need of a picture showing where the end of the speedo cable plugs in to on the 93 900rr. I have the cable, its plugged into the speedo, but other than "its on the left side of the wheel" I'm not sure where it goes into. I've had a look but fear I am missing the "hub" or whatever it goes into.

I'm a visual learner, so pics are much appreciated.

This is just a stock image, as I am not near my bike now. The speedo cable should plug into a small 'gearbox' on the left side of the front wheel. IIRC, that gearbox is needed to house a bearing and act as a spacer. If its missing, I'd be curious of what is actually there. How about you take a pic of your left side front axle and let us see...

Yeah, I'll be buying that soon. No idea how fast I'm going and this thing is fast, so better safe than ticketed.

Why would it not be there though? Why would someone take it out? Damaged maybe?

um..well.

if the previous owner was trying to sell you on only having 12k on the odometer, he may not have been quite honest with you.

the bike could have been in a front end accident and it was damaged and never replaced. the cable can catch on things and get ripped out pretty easily.

changed the tire and had extra pieces left over.

or maybe part just failed and being it's not a cheap part to replace (what Honda part is?) was ignored.
