One more question, from what I can see in my CBR929 manual, the judder spring and judder spring seat are at the back of all 9 discs (nearest to the engine itself). When I opened my cbr929, they were the first discs, they sat between my lifter plate and my first (broken) friction disc. I'm guessing this was an error of the previous mechanic/owner?

Installed new disk, you can clearly see the color difference.
Has this been correctly installed? http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/1451/xz1e.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us Notice that the friction disk is in a different gap. Is this correct? |
Noise is gone, replaced broken discs.
All works well now. Finally! |

After replacing the CCT I noticed the knock was still present.
But I have found the cause of the problem: https://img138.imageshack.us/img138/7401/slkn.jpg Have ordered parts to fix it, was only the first disc that was broken. |
