929 Fuel Pump problems
Hi. New to the site, like what I see.
I am hoping someone has seen a problem like this. I have a 2000 929 that I laid down about 2 - 2.5 years ago. In doing so I cracked both both halves of the engine case. I have replaced it with a 2001 engine from a bike that was in a fire. No problems until I tried to start it. When I turn the key on, the fuel pump does not turn on.
After reading the manual, I have verified the fuel cut relay, engine stop relay, bank angle sensor, engine stop switch are all good. when I check the fuel pump, the 3P black connector only gets 7.41 V with the ignition switch on.
If I plug in the fuel pump directly, it sounds like it works.
Does anyone know why there would only be 7.41V at the fuel pump connector?
