Aftermarket fairing set..'87 1000. Anyone know if avail. anywhere? Or just piece - together from e-bay? Sponsor Extreme Fairing doesn't list. Thanks.....

87 and 88 plastics are identical. As for availability, ebay is probably your best bet for OEM, but expect them to be damaged. Rare to find a set in good condition, especially cowl

Airtech advertises a kit on their website, but only the side panels and belly pan. It's also unpainted, so either way you can probably expect to be putting some money into body/paint

 

Thanks for both replies. Seeing the rear seat cowl clips now gives me an idea of how to fabricate them. A fairly clever clamp-pressure clip, a way to secure without drilling seat base. Nice. For the fairings, Ill go eBay hunting. Thanks again .
