Hi all. I have an '07 1000, I went down about seven months or so ago and had to pul the motor. put it all back together and it ran fin for a day. Now it seems about every few hours it bogs down at about 7000RPM. It's like it just shuts off. It still runs fine under 7 grand. To fix the issues I have to lift the gas tank up then put it down. Then it runs fine for a few hours after that, then all at once it does it again. Feels vacum related. Any ideas? Thanks

 

Fuel pump, fuel filter, crud in the tank ?

Seems like a place to start.

 

Try draining the gas tank, cleaning it out, clean all the gas lines and filter. And run some injector cleaner through it.

 

I pulled the tank and fuel pump. cleand out what I could and it runs fine right now. We'll see how it runs at the track monday
