2004 cbr1000rr won't start?
I know it's fuel related because bike will run with gas poured directly into intake side. One thing i don't hear is the fuel pump prime when i turn the key on. I am trying to figure out if it's the fuel pump itself or if it's the fuel pump relay. I have no manual and i can't seem to locate the pump or relay, can someone help a brother out? I think it may be tucked away under the airbox somewhere but not sure. As far as the relay goes how do i check it once i in fact locate it. I always thought they were either good or bad. Help HElp Help!

The fuel pump is IN the gas tank.
You should hear the pump for about 3 sec on power on.
With any of your 8 injectors unplugged, the fuel pump will not run.
Same goes for the MAS on top of the airbox. It's gotta be plugged in.
Did you recently have the tank raised? If no, hard to say, if Yes you did something
like pinched the fuel line (gotta route it on the tank bracket) tugged a wire etc.
Seriously, you NEED to download the service manual. It tells you how to troubleshoot
the fuel pump.

RE: 2004 cbr1000rr won't start?
I checked the lean angle sensor all plugged up same with the head lights and checked the plugs for the fuel rail. I have power to the fuel pump but when i had the ignition on i unplugged and plugged it back in, nothing! I'm pretty sure it's the fuel pump. Has anyone heard about a 2004 cbr 1000rr having fuel pump problems with only 7,500 miles on the bike?
