Default 2000 929 Headlight Problem

I have a 2000 cbr929rr with 10K miles. Before I put it away for the season the headlights cut out on me while I was riding it. I thought it was just a glitch in the electrical system. I went to start it up the next day and the headlights wouldn't turn on. After a few seconds they eventually turned back on. Has anyone else heard or had this same problem and if so how did I fix it?

Hmmm. The only thing I can suggest is that perhaps there's a crack inside a harness or a wire is about to call it quits. You said that after the bike ran for a while, the lights turned back on. When metal heats up it expands, possibly creating the circuit for the headlights. Hard to tell. Just a suggestion.
