I got a 2 bros pipe a few months back and i noticed the other day its really quiet than what it used to be like, it doesnt "howl" like it used to sniff sniff
anyways can someone tell me whats up? do they loose sound after a while, is the pack blown, could something have gotten in the pipe? please let me know.

 

Usually works the opposite way -- starts off kinda low and deep then gets a little louder as it breaks in. How many miles on it? May need repacking.

 

This may sound like a joke but I am serious. Squirrels deposited acorns in an old bike of mine that i kept outside a few years ago. I could not figure out why my bike was rattleing along with loss of sound and power. Check out whats in your can brother, it might surprise you. Two Brothers aren't commonly known for loud slip-ons.

 

Hows the bike running? If its a bit rich the cans sometimes get a bit coked up and that effects noise too.

 

its running fine, after tinkering a bit and getting pissed off my wife asked me what was wrong and i told her i thought it sounded a lot more quiet than usual. well she tells me she saw our two year old son playing with golf ***** by the muffler and was trying to put them in it! Now she tells me this. I looked in the can and there is no rattling. I would thik if a golf ball is in the can it would make a big rukus. well there is nothing anywhere in the pipe under the can after looking in it. I dont know maybe its just me.
