I have a 1996 f3 it melted the rectafire so i bought a new one from ricks, (new plug in also) but now when i turn the key on, the three wires that come out of the ign switch get VERRY hot, almost to the point that the coating gets soft, they did this when i first bought it but never got this hot. I am out of ideas why it is doing this the rectafire had been changed 3 times in the last 2 years the 3rd lasted about 2 months or so. I tested the stator and it didnt appear to be grounded, i removed the cover no burnt smell or burn marks.........Any ideas
