I have a 1993 cbr 900 and I am going to put new tires on it? what is the recomendayion I have a 190 55 17 in back can I go to a 200?

180/55/17 is the correct tyre for rear wheel. 200 will fit.

 

I would check first. I was told once if you have 180 then 190 is as big as you can go. I'm not sure how true that is but just make sure it doesn't rub anywhere and will hold a bead.

 

I think I am going to stay with the 190 does anyone have an opnion of the Bridgestone Battle Axes?

 

I have been a biker for 25 years and will only fit Bridgestone tyres. Never had a tyre problem yet. TOUCH WOOD. Although I will be honest never heard of a Bridgestone battle axe !!
Fit a standard 180 or 190/55 /17 Bridgestone tyre will do you fine.
