1990 cbr1000 wont run right????
Okay i bought the bike a couple weeks ago guy said it sat for a couple months so i put in a new battery drained tank cleaned carbs and now it takes forever to crank and wont idle right and cuts off and takes a long time to crank again and it backfires alot too i cant figure it out im not familiar with motorcyles really any help would be apreciated???

Are we talking about the CBR1000F here?
If so you may want to post your questions in this section :-
CBR 1000F "Hurricane" - CBR Forum - Enthusiast forums for Honda CBR Owners
As suggested check the battery is fully charged and good. The 1000F needs a good healthy charge to get it started, may also be an idea to try a jump start from another vehicle. Just be sure that the donor vehicle isn't running!
If the symptoms persist, check the main earth strap has a good clean connection. If that checks out OK try bump starting it. If it starts OK on a bump start, then it may be the starter damper/clutch, in which case read this :-
Replacing the alternator damper on your CBR1000F Honda motorcycle
But as I first said, if it is a CBR1000F, drop by the Hurricane section via the above link and post up there.
