Yes once these are out of the way, its then a matter of concentrating on the cause for no petrol at the rails , also can you bridge the DLC to see if there are any faults showing , also check that fuse "D" 10amp BAS is intact, and a fuel flow test would be useful ,page 6-93 of your manual:)

Alright guidance is needed ibhave bypassed the BAS and kickstand but it's still the same result, be turns but the injectors aren't throwing gas to the manifolds...I have not a clue what to do next any good ideas ?

Okay shortly after this message I went a head and tried the bump start it sputtered like it was going to run but died within 5 seconds looks like the injectors aren't working, my uncle told me that I should go get some connector solution spray and clean each port / connector and then check all the grounds on the bike. He mentioned that happened to a Honda car he had that it would crank but injectors wouldn't work until he cleaned all electrical ports and checked ground, I'm gonna give that a try and see what happens but I am still open for any CBR600RR related seggestions.

Hi did you try the Fuel Flow test, You need to check that the pump is forcing petrol through from the tank, (follow the instructions from the manual as the fuel line is under pressure)

Mate, I am sorry if I am stating the obvious but fuel may be contaminated? I think you said you used rustoleum? Was it inside the tank?

Zozo Jun 13, 2017 12:28 PM

Sorry for that but name was not the product I use I know it was a brand I bought from a motorcycle shop and now that you mention it the fuel does smell quite off. Like a candy of sorts I guess but 8 spoke with some other guy and he told me try the ECM cuz it could be a short so I'm gonna have to find someone that has an extra one to test before I consider buying one. I am gonna clean out the tank again and maybe try testing out the FPR, I'll let you know what I come up with as to which these threads usually go unresolved.

Hi Zozo, I don't think you will find a FPR on your bike, its pump driven from the tank, hence the fuel line test to see if its kicking out the fuel

Cabaret, I know it's getting fuel to the rails and injectors but not throwing fuel due to the injectors not ooerating properly like you said I don't know how much fuel is needed to be pushing PSI wise. I oddly was in the restroom taking a wee and I thought if the problem to the injectors could be ground what if I somehow bypass the connectors with some wire hook em up to the positive terminal of the injector plug and then wire the negative to the battery with making contact to the injector that should make it fire right? Maybe far fetched but it's a try I'm thinking about, plus I need to find the specs on the PSI on the fuel delivery for the bike. :icon_eddie:

An injector is just a valve that opens and closes. The fuel pressure is what pushes it through the injector. The connector has constant power and the ECU controls when it opens and for how long by varing the ground.
Your next step should be to use a noid light to check the pulse from the ECM. You can get one that fits your connector from just about any auto parts store, or make one with a 2 wire bulb and socket.

Then I would be making sure there is good fuel pressure.

You said it was put down on the side. Did a crank sensor get damaged?

Fuel pressure at idle is 50psi:)
