Default Sig and Avatar Help

Everytime I try to upload the picture for an avatar it reads, Error saving File to Disk. Why is this?

Also, I am having trouble getting a picture to stay in my signature. Can someone help?

Thanks!

I've not tried to change or update my profile picture in a while since I first signed on here, but the best thing I can recommend is making sure the file is within the posted limits. (size - Deminsions and bytes) If that doesn't work, post the picture on an image hosting site like imageshack and post the link to it in there instead of trying to upload the picture from your computer.

Finally, The avatar worked. However, I had to use a different computer. It might have been an issue with my mac.

Still need help with the signature though. What format doI need to use in order for a picture to stay in my signature?
