How do you know when you've posted on a topic, instead of actually opening up the whole topic and reading through all the responses?

After you hit "OK" the screen should give you a "message posted successfully" message then bring you back to the topic.

That's not what I meant. Maybe I was unclear. When your going through a forum, can you tell that you have posted on a particular topic without entering the mish/mash of responses in same?

AGain...no! LOL!

Lets say you go into introductions. I'm asking if there is a way to determine if you have posted in any of the topics listed in same. For example, on this other site, they have a black dot to all the topics you have replied on. The one's lacking the black dot means you have not posted in that topic.

Than this is my suggestion to the site. Everytime someone makes a post, there should be a charater identifying to that person that they have already posted on a topic.

They kinda have it all you have to do is click on you own name and then you will see all the post you replied to on the right. Does that kinda answer your question?

I wonder if.... if you subscribe to the topic when you post on it, then that would essentially tell you everything you've posted on... all you'd have to do is look at your subscription list (I've never used the subscription feature on this site, but it's the ONLY way I keep track of things on Cycle Forums, so I'd assume it would work in the same manner).
