I keep trying to respond to peoples posts and every other one, after i've typed a good paragraph and hit send ... I get the message I sent was too short .. and leaves me with an erased message . why is this ? Am I doing something wrong?

 

It keeps doing it every time i use the quick reply?

 

It's a bug. Originally it was intended to keep people from posting "+1" and other short messages that don't really contribute to anything but post count. But even after I disabled it you sometimes still get the message if you use 'quick reply' ... instead scroll down a bit and use 'advanced reply' and it'll work every time.
