hey mods - i always hit the 'report post' on threads like those. is that indeed the best way to see them taken care of?

 

I would have normally hit that button, however the previously mentioned children where present and I didn't want them to see that crap. I reported to a mod through a PM first and then started this thread several hours later. This thread had the issue dealt with very quickly and also leaves a clear explanation of why a thread was altered/deleted/ etc. My intent was to help keep **** off my favorite forum.
The mods and admins here have done a good job keeping it clean.

 

There's no place for that stuff on this forum, and I reacted as soon as I was able.
There was another one that stuck up a bunch of posts about children, from Rumania (his personal page says he's from elsewhere) Maybe I'll send a message to the Blackbears boys in Rumania and give them his IP address.............

Best to reach me is a PM - I am close to a computer most of the time, so ............

One of the advantages of having Mods in different time zones, is that we have 24/7 cover.

i got on at about 5:30 am central u.s time this morning and they had just been put on here. There were 13 posts in total by the guy and all of them were underage **** related. I reported most of them and didnt want to post in the topic so not to get possibly flammed for clicking on it....but hey i wanted to report them. I come here to get advice on motorcycles not illegal ****.

 

If I see any proper **** it will be an instant temporary ban ... I normally am against banning unless absolutely necessary but if I see anything that looks remotely underage then the ban will be swift and for life!!

Sorry I won't budge on that one!!

I don't bother with temporary bans - the members of the Forum know it's a no-no, so newcomers learn the hard way, I'm afraid.
Anything "off colour" is gone, with the author.
No exceptions.
This is a bike forum - we like bikes (doesn't mean we don't dig chicks too) but our focus is Hondas.
