All of a sudden the interface on the site changed on me the other day now I can't post images that are hosted from photobucket. I know they still do it... what's the deal?

This should be an image!

Now, I thought well maybe I'll click the "add image" button at the top:

Okay now I see a huge image, but when I post it nothing shows up. What's going on?

 

It should work as long as you are adding it from the mountain picture button and you using the HTTP function from photobucket, it should work

 

It's not anything with this site or photobucket, it's something odd with the link to your photo. I tested a few pics and they worked. What's odd though is that your link (if you just copy and paste it) does go to a picture so it's not a broken link.

ok... wtf, I see the same thing too. I edited your post and you're doing everything right. Give it a day and I'll talk to patrick about it.

 

The problem is the addition of text at the end of the link....whether it came from photobucket or you just accidentily added it. I left the original line of text for you to see but your link should end with .jpg or similiar graphic scripting. As you can see when the added text is removed it works fine. Hope that helps......

 

yeah I thirdgenlxi told me the same thing about deleting the text, but if you paste the url with the text at the end after .jpg you can follow it to the pic so I dunno wtf is going on

btw this is exactly how I used to do it... dunno why it changed all of a sudden
