Dual seat conversion from bananna seat
 

Hey guys I have an 06 F4i with the typical stock banna seat. This is my second bike - my first was an 07 ninja 650R and I recently upgraded to the F4i December of 2010.

I have been researching the two peice seat conversion for several months now and decided to finally pull the trigger. My main source of information to do this project is located here : https://cbrforum.com/forum/f4i-main-...part-ii-36460/

The list of items for the conversion from what I have researched are:

- Subframe
- Rear Cowl
- Rear footpegs
- Rear Tail Light
- Undertray, with Battery compartment Lid. To relocate the ECU module
- Front Seat
- Rear Seat

Out of this list I currently only have the Subframe. I am looking for the rest of the parts and of course they have to be from an 01-03 F4i.

I am a complete newbie to this but between the internet and this forum I think I can do this by myself. Please let me know if you guys want to sell any of your parts to help me out or I am willing to trade my 06 F4i parts I will be not needing for the conversion as a swap if someone out there is looking for a bananna seat conversion :). Ok So I couldnt wait any longer so I reverted to ebay. I have everything except a 01-03 F4i REAR SEAT.

i just checked ebay someone posted the seat you are looking for and if you want to sell your banana seat i could possibly buy it how much would you be looking to get for it shipped to nj 07109 paypaled?
