STOCK:

See that silver bolt at the end of "600F4i"? This kit will have BLACK, non-frankenstein bolts instead.
And yes, it is still available. Price is posted on the first page :0)
The Frankenstein bolts were originally designed to use as a tie-down bolt. If you're carrying something in the back, you could use the frankenstein bolts to tie down your belongings.
Funny thing is, the undertray has two hooks (you can see them in my pic, next to the rear turn signals) that you can use, and the rear pegs can be used, too.
I read somewhere that using the frankenstein bolts to tie stuff down is actually not recommended because the bolt was too small/short. On the other hand, there's no chance of anything slipping off the rear pegs, you know?
Oh, the frankenstein bolts are also holding the cowl to the subframe (which my black allen bolts will do).

Yes, they tighten up rather well. The allen bolt is from Lowe's automotive section - and the thread on the bolt is coarser than the stripped hole, which "jams" right before the bolt hear reaches the cowl to secure it. I gave it a quarter turn to make sure it sits in the hole and the bolt sits flush with the cowl, combined with a washer. :0)
