thinking about offereing him 2500 for the bike .and riding season can start from late april till october..mostly see cruisers and HB out then by may and june most sports start riding.

I'd say offer $3000. Thats an excellent price IMO. Around South Florida they were 3k for a few months. Now everyones trying to sell them for 4-5k.

Honestly $3500 is a good deal if the bike is super clean at least in my area. I don't know what they go for up by you.

It dies value at 3900 accordn to blue book.

Thats a good price. Could always shoot a lower offer to see if he bites.

I'd tell you to pound sand if you offered me 2500 for that bike.

That's my .02. If you go in at 3k and meet somewhere in the middle everyone should be happy. 2500 is offensive if you ask me.

I agree with Seafordguy. If you really like the bike and that's a fair price for your area, shoot him an offer that won't completely turn him or her off to negotiations.
Also, Seafordguy, mad props for using "pound sand." HAHAHA!
