Default Your favorite brand of motorcycle manual?

I have a Clymer manual for my F4i andI amhappy with it. I am starting to collect some 929/954 parts now and want to get a manual for a 929. Anybody have any experience using repair manuals other than Clymer?

I use the factory manual and love it, I have them for every car I have owned and several for cars my friends own (bastards gotta start working on their own stuff).

Honda! Nothing compares to FSM. Clymers and Chilton's are ok but are designed for less technically minded people and leave some pertinent info out.

Ive delt with Honda OEM manuals, Haynes, and Clymer and so far its a toss up between Clymer and Honda. I always reccomend Clymer thou, they seem to always cover more in depth info

factory manual FTW! Always thought Clymer / Haynes were a little too general. And I prefer illustrations over crappy pictures, which the Clymer manuals I have seen seem to have a lot of. I prefer a manual that's written specifically for my bike. I want to know every factory spec and tolerance... afterall, it's the factory guys that designed the parts, they're the ones who will know exactly how many inch pounds to put on every little fastener. And I like seeing all the part numbers of the exotic factory tools they recommend too. Every once in a while, I'll actually buy one!

Thats what I wanted to hear. Dont think Ive ever even seen a factory manual though, even the dealers sell Clymers for some reason.

you can download the factory manual if you hunt around a little bit. I found it within about 2 hours of purchasing my F4i. It's in PDF format, and it's about 500 pages long.
