Tahoe makes a great point (of course); many would not even be able to take advantage of a full system unless they race or push the envelope. Are you pushing your bike hard enough to need that extra horse power? For an a-hole like me, the slip on provided everything I was looking for...aesthetic enhancement and aural satisfaction. Chances are a slip on will do the trick. By the way, isn't Akropovic the brother of Maury (daytime talkshow host)?

I put no words in your mouth. You said "thank God I didn't" buy a Yoshi, as if it were a piece of garbage, and as if it would have been a major disaster for you. That kind of talk isn't productive when 1)you can't back it up, and 2)all a guy is looking for is advice in buying a slip on. The dude didn't need you beating him down because he didn't want to go buy a $500 pipe.

With regard to the 7 lbs thing...we can go all day on that one. If it takes 1 HP to push 7 lbs, then why does my poor car run just fine at 22 lb/HP (260 HP on a 5900 lb SUV)? That would be much higher than the previous claim that it takes 1 HP to move 7 lbs, right? How does my car move?
