Default yoshimura trs exhaust

Hey, just another newbie post. I am looking for some pics and a sound byte for the yoshimura trs exhaust on a 2001-2003 f4i. Do all the yoshimura products sound the same on this bike rs3, trs, etc. or is there a difference. I don't want something stupid loud, but louder than stock for sure. Anybody have a yosh trs?? Any opinions Thanks

I went from D&D to a Yoshi RS-3 race and it is AMAZINGLY better and a great tone. I would imagine the TRS would have a different tone to it. There should be a sound byte on yoshi's site. if not look on youtube or google video to find some soundclips

Do a search. Squire_SCA posted a vid of his bike on a dyno a while back. He was running a TRS at the time.

I have a carbon fiber TRS. I love it. It's smooth and mellow, but will scream at the higher RPMs. Two Brothers exhausts sound good too, but I slightly prefer the Yoshis...they are a little more quiet and less harsh, IMO.

i got a carbon rs-3. Sounds perfect to me. Basically all exhaust sound the same, they do sound a little different, but basically the same.

main thing most people say is don't get a DD exhaust. That will be way too loud. If you were in a parking lot full of bikes with aftermarket exhausts and there's one with a DD, you'd hear the DD really loud.

and don't trust the sound clips on the internet. You gotta hear it in person. if anything, just chill at your nearest bike shop and ask each guy that parks to let you hear his exhaust.

I have a TRS and I love everything about it, except I would have prefered a highmount, but they don't make high-mount slip-on I'm looking into finding a high-mount midpipe that may fit both my headers and the existing can...

+1 on the sound clip advice. Hearing in person is 100x better.

As far as the looks are concerned... there are plenty of pix out there. Check my gallery for some more if you'd like.

I am VERY pleased with my pipe. Can't believe I rode stock for two years [:'(] But I firmly believe that by waiting as long as I did made it that much more gratifying.

Enjoy.
