They are all the same except the exterior finish. Find the LOOK that you like and go with it.

from what i know the rs3 is just the regular oval exhaust slip on or full system. rs5 i've seen alot on rr's so it might just be for that bike? s/o is short for "slip-on" i believe. and zyclone is a quieter system with different baffles. all of the systems are offered in stainless steel, titanium, or carbon fiber finishes.

I owned an RS-3 in stainless and was very happy with it. Only get the race baffle though, the street baffle sounds like stock. The race baffle isn't really a "race" baffle, there is still some sound supression but not too much. It really sounds great and looks good too. I'm a big fan of Yosh products.

Hey man, if you are even remotely interested in performance gains, you will be much happier in the long run if you get a full exhaust system. Check out Arata exhaust. Once you start spending money on your bike, it's really hard to stop. Don't forget about your air filter and power commander.

I just noticed that there are two holes one top one bottom on the exhaust outlet of my Yoshimura RS 3 slip on. Are they there so the baffle can be repacked or something? What would happen if I took the baffle out?

RS-3 is the Oval Shaped Muffler/Canister Exhaust -- you can buy it for the F4i...it mounts in the factory location & at the same angle. This is what I have & I love it!!!!

TRS is a triangle shaped Muffler/Canister exhaust -- you can buy it for the F4i as well & mounts in the factory location too.

RS-5 exhaust is for the bikes with undertail exhaust. Won't fit the F4i.

Yoshimura doesn't make a high mount system for the F4i (or even in general I think).

Yoshimura pipes are available in "Zyclone" & "Race" baffles. "Zyclone" is the street baffle (quiet) & "Race" is the race baffler (louder).

For the F4i, it's gonna be a S/O (SLIP ON) system that comes with a new midpipe and bolts right onto the bike at the end of the header. (Some bikes like the GSX-R you just replace the muffler--bolts on)

And like what was said....the Yoshimura pipes are available in Stainless Steel, Carbon Fiber, & Titanium finishes.

It's a VERY SIMPLE install & straight forward.
