What are we looking at in terms of making it California legal? Can we just reuse our stock mid-pipe?

 

nope... i wish it could but they have like some special clip on it and i believe they have o2 bungs on the CA versions. yeah... we get the crap end of the stick!!!

 

I have heard mixed reviews on this, but if you get a slip on, do you NEED a power commander as well? I thought by just getting a slip on, you did not have to tune the bike, therefore a PC was not needed at all. Is it recommended to get a PC with a slip on, or just with a full system? I know there are minimal if any power gains from a slip on, which is fine, im looking more for sound than power, if i want more sound that power a nice slip on should do the trick just fine right? Thanks for the input!

 

cali guys, you can buy this pipe and then just buy an o2 eliminator for about $15-20 bucks.
