If you look at the top of the pipe, thats the kind of color(a little lighter) it's turning into.

looks like carbon build up. try using stainless steel cleaner.

Its probably the first time the bike has been bouncing off the limiter/revved very hard- please bin that pipe and get it back on the dyno and liberate some horses
