Hey, I'm gonna with a Yoshi TRS or RS3 (leaning towards RS3) and am having trouble decide b/w a Ti pipe or CF. I posted two pics of a bike someone has from this forum, originally it's got a CF TRS, i photoshopped a Ti RS3. Lemme know which you think looks better, thanks!




Aside from looks, is one canister type better over the other? I've heard stories of CF discoloration...bubbling, etc...

 

it would be a tough choice but personally i like titanium slightly more, that stuff will be worth ALOT in the future.

but if you go for a cf theme thats also awesome looking.

 

I think the titanium Trs would look the best. I like the TRS better, just because it's different. Forget everyone's opinion though. Get what you like the best.

 

I think the Ti makes the wings on your bike pop a little more. Just my $0.02, get what you like the best... or what you can afford!

 

Hehe well price isn't the issue, and i like all of em, TRS, RS3, Ti and CF. Might as well get one of each and switch em off every day :P

I probably will go with Ti, however I donno about the TRS, the corners seem too sharp when I saw them on other bikes in real life, I thought they'd be more rounded.

Also, is there a sound difference between the TRS race cans and the RS3 race cans?

I like the TRS just because EVERY OTHER PIPE IS ROUND/OVAL. At first I wasn't so sure about it, but it grew on me. And since it looks like a 1.5 mile stock car track (Lowe's, Atlanta, Texas, etc.) it fits right in with the "racey" theme.

As far as sound differences are concerned, I couldn't tell ya! I have heard an RS-3 compared to my TRS, but the RS-3 was on a Gixxer 1000... not really a fair comparison!!! One thing's for sure though, get the race baffle and not the zyclone (if they still make that).

Oh no doubt, I want a low deep grumble and louder, I had my dad ride my bike around the block, couldn't hear it 50m away with the stock exhaust! So I will get a race baffle (they don't even my zyclone for the RS3 anymore). And it seems like it'll be Ti, because I don't know about going all out with CF on my bike - the progrip tank pad is enough :P. Now the decision of TRS or RS3...hummm, now it's down to buying 2 pipes and switching them off everyday

 

go with the Ti. its the cleanest lookin and matches the grey plastics almost perfectly.[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

 

I like the carbon theres alot of black on the bike and you wont burn your leg.
