Feet on the passenger pegs, slide back a little, lean forward onto the gas tank, prop up your head for distance with you left hand. :-)

Then takea nap.. lol but really thats funny because thats exactly to a T how I do it too... I was driving like 60 miles to work one way for a while and I was riding like that. Also on cold mornings it directs all the wind around you and the heat flows up along the frame onto your legs when they are on passenger pegs. rode on some 40 degree mornings and it wasnt that bad.

It may depend on how arched your wrist are, that may be causing the pain.

Yea after a while I will sit on my fuel tank and let my feet dangle next to my front tire. It is a good idea to try not to let the cops see you do this one though, something about reckless driving ( I wasnt really paying attention).
