Default Woo hoo, first wreck

I guess the odds were right when they say you'll crash in the first six months. I didn't think I was going that fast around a corner but the front tire came off the road mid way through the turn and after rolling/sliding all I'm left with is a bruised knee, shoulder and some broken plastic. Thank god nothing major happened but now I need a shift lever.

I guess the gear helped out, the helmet looks fine but I was getting a new one anyway. No scrapes from the jacket but my knee is killing me. The funny thing was I was going to buy knee guards before I really even went out.

It's kinda good in a way since now I have a real "need" to upgrade some parts. I figure integrated and flushmounts won't tear away and fiberglass is alot easier to repair than plastic

What I really love is how much this one part costs. I guess $60 isn't too bad but since I'm broke this is killing me.
