-1/+2 you will need an extra link. -1/+1 you can use the stock length.

Ok, so I went to the store the other day and ordered my sprockets. We had to look thru a few different companies before we found a 14t front. Is there a reason behind this? Is there a problem with running that small of a front sprocket? What do you guys think?

Yikes, I wouldn't recommend a -2 front from a gear ratio standpoint. I run -1/+1 and top speed at redline is 150 according to my gps calibrated speedo healer.

would you be able to tell a difference if you do a -1 on the front, also would you have to lose a link?

Ok, well, we will see I guess. I am just looking at it this way. Everyone seems to love their -1/+2. My -1/+0 is quicker then that. But what track do I need to go faster? I am in southern california, so the fastest track I ride is Willow Springs. I was hammering out 4th, just touching 5th at 145 down the main straight. But who knows, time will tell. I will let you guys know how it is.
