Default Wiring Problems

Hey guys i just put some hotbodies led turnsignals on the front of my f4i. everything seemed to work just fine except my back turn signals (which are still stock) seemed to glow alot brighter and become pretty hot when im out cruisin the streets. I was wondering if i should be worried about this problem and if i should, how should i fix it? Thanks

Seems like you should be worried about it... LED lights take very little current compared to normal lights. So all the power meant for your front and back normal lights is now going through the back lights. You need a resistor for each side.

i haven't really noticed to be honest with you... but the way that i installed it was that i just used the stock plugs that came w/ the bike and solder the LED wires to them. there should be a thread on here that shows you the wiring situation. if you need additionaly help just PM me or AIM me if i'm on...

just trying to help
