Wiring help to run high beam only instead of low
okay guys here's my problem...
I got HID's... the way the headlight housing/reflectors are made makes the high beam focused on one spot (so i aimed them to the ground), and the low beam shines off everywhere (pointed to lowest level but light still shines off and blinds ppl). Since it blinds people... I wanna rewire my bike. Normally, the light switch, when I set it to low beam, the left side (low beam) turns on only. Then when I set the switch to high beam, the right side (high beam) turns on. I want it the other way around so that when I set it to low beam, the right side (high beam) turns on only. This way, at night, I can run with the high beam pointed on the ground and not blind anyone. And I'll use my low beam as a high beam because the lights shines the entire neighborhood. confused? if u aren't... any good input would help. |

Cut, splice and extend.

why dont u just leave it how its wired and just remember to drive with low beams at night and high beams in the day? or did i miss part of it

I agree with BadAzF4i. Originally I questioned the wisdom of Honda's "one eye light" idea. After seeing other machines, I think it's best and no longer wish to change it.

I have never really looked at it,but how do the reflectors come out of the assembly. that is the real question right? Then all u would do is swap plugs, maybe having to extend harness by splicing.
