Default Winter and Snow, how i hate thee

So this winter for some reason is killing me here in MN. The thought of cruising for hours, or even the daily commute to and from work is growing more and more irresistible ever day!! I am so jealous of all you southern riders

Does anyone else suffer from the lack of riding through the white winter months? And if so, what do you do to combat this, because I can only watch so many Youtube videos at work, and my neighbors will start to think I'm weird if I start my bike in the garage randomly just to hear her purr any more than I already do. Maybe next year I will just have to pace myself with upgrades/projects instead of wrenching on her for 2 months straight!!

Pace out winter work like you said. Thats what I'm doing right now. Working quite well. The urge to ride doesn't go away, but you can at least hold it at bay.

I am in Minnesota and I feel your pain. Its kind of hard after awhile not being able to ride. Oh well I have other projects and cars to build in the mean time.

I'm in St Paul too. Eff winter. Fortunately my bike is in storage, so I don't see it everyday. That drove me mad.

I'm in Southeastern Pa, and we're getting a decent amount of snow. To help me get my mind off riding, i go skiing

Someone should market snowtires for bikes.

- Work in the garage / shop.
- Play video games.
- Drink.
- Do bowling, dinners, etc.
- Snowboard, snowmobile.
- Drink.

That sums up most of my riding group's winter activities.
